64 Days 'Til Halloween....

....and I'm preparing my zombie army. MWAH-ha-hahahahaa!!!Okay, really, the little heads are for a Halloween swap on Rachel's site...I can't wait to show you the finished product! It's going to be sooo wonderfully scary!
I was going to include these M&Ms as my treat for the swap, but the bag was somehow accidentally opened and these sweet little candies met an untimely demise. MWAH-Ha-hahahahahaaa!! (Sorry, I'm just in the mood for evil laughter this morning!)

In other news, I've started swapping over at Swap-Bot this week! I love how you can pick your own swap and you have approximately one gazillion choices....I've recently completed an ephemera swap, a scrap swap, and a vintage children's book ATC swap. If you decide to sign up over there, just be aware that it's an international site....4 of these ATCs are leaving our country and heading to Canada and Sweden! I'd never mailed anything to Sweden before....it was kinda cool! Seeing the address made me want to talk like that chef from the Muppet Show.
And this is the felt turtle I made for Katie for her birthday last week! I still need to give it to her, but it was made on time, I swear!! Okay, I've gotten the kids off to school after they missed the bus for the second day in a row. *sigh* I'm going back to bed. Happy Wednesday!

A Plethora of Cards...

This week seems to have been dedicated to cards, for some reason.....I did this ATC for the challenge at The Art is Found blog. We were to use a sewing pattern in a fun and creative way, and this is what I came up with. I'm trading Rachel for the sewing pattern ATC she made! Whoo-HOO!!
This next ATC is for the Category Stories challenge blog, and their theme was "Sunshine!" Oh, happy day! Had a lot of fun with this one.Now that we're done with our ATCs for the day, we can move on to greeting cards...

The following card was made using the fusible web technique as illustrated on Lorelie's blog! I LOVE how this came out, and it was a technique I never would've thought up myself. Thanks, chica! :)

And finally, I made a card for the challenge over at Caardvarks....their theme is music. I went a little crazy with the embellies on this one.I've gotten a LOT of things ready to mail this week, signed up for some swaps over at Swap-Bot, and started a little project that I can't talk about yet....busy week!
