Today I am still in mourning for my computer. Using Rick's laptop means I can't upload pictures online, I can't print anything, and I don't have a mouse. While I'm happy to be able to get online at all, using Rick's laptop is the total suck.
Today I'm feeling overwhelmed by all the mountains of clean laundry that await folding, the dirty bathrooms, the undone dishes. I need a vacation from ignoring my housework.
Today I just want to sit outside in the sunshine and watch Jacob and the Twinkies play in the sand, blow bubbles, color with sidewalk chalk.
Today I know Alex is going to forget to go to choir practice again, and I'm going to want to strangle him.
Today I'd like to create something artistic, but I have no idea what.
Today I exercised AND got a shower, and I feel pretty good about both of those things.
Right now, I'm going to get off this computer and make some lunch so the kids and I can go outside! What are you doing today?

I totally relate to needing a vacation from ignoring my housework! lol And the printer. My printer died too & it's throwing a kink in my life.
well today i ran all dang day... and I'm tired. I have to start dinner here in mere minutes.. and I just want to scrap. I have laundry waiting on me... kids wanting me to wait on them.. and I want to go lay in bed and watch tv and scrap... if you make me choose just one.. i'm choosing lay in bed and watch tv... lol Hope you found some you time.. and that the computer of yours can be fixed soon!
did you have fun outside? yesterday i had school and then i played with aj and elijah at night and cleaned the house a little! :) today i had school and then i took a nap and then we went on a walk and to the coffee shop! i love spring!!! :)
Well today I had to work. I did shower but did not exercise. It was a bad week for me food wise - ate way too much. But I was so thankful that it rained today cause baseball practice was cancelled so I had the whole family at home tonight...it was so nice.
